How do i put a picture in the signature area?

Not really train related but well how do i put a picture in the signature box, does it have to be a GIF or etc?

Above right, between Faq and Logout, open Update Profile. Enable avatar. Browse and find a good clean image that shows what you want clearly and close. A busy image won’t show up well. A railroad logo should do nicely, or a well-lit, medium contrast large object like a locomotive. Click on the image and then click on “update”. Then scroll down to the bottom and click “save”. You should begin to see the avatar in a few minutes.

To place it in the signature area of your posts the image will need to be hosted on a website, go to the “update profile” page as described by Crandel and enter the url of the desired picture into the signature area of your profile page.

You will need to use the [img]*******[ /img] tags as elsewhere on this forum.
