I’ve got an HO Genesis F3 with an MRC DC/DCC dual function decoder. Using Lenz Set-100, I can’t figure out how to change the address from default address 3.
The normal programming track won’t work and POM doesn’t do it. It says that this decoder doesn’t support the normal CV read back feature. So, how do I do it?

There was a post a while back about the Genesis 4-6-6-4 with the same problem. I’ll see if I can look it up and post it for you.
We now have the answer.
After some time on the phone with Lenz, it was discovered that Register Mode had to be used. By repeatedly entering the new 2-digit address in CV1 until the display read ERR 02, the new address did work. If you get ERR 01, you must continue repeating the process until you get ERR 02, then it works.
If you are using a 4-digit address, there is another step involved and Lenz can email you the procedure.
MRC decoders seem to be a different animal so unusual procedures are needed. I suppose that if you have an MRC system then they probably work okay.
