The train made one trip to Lafayette and that was it - I think they move about 80 people. They decided that they didn’t need to move any more west and rail route to the north weren’t available.

I thought there was a way the poster could delete his own topic. I guess I’ll just let it go away on it’s own.

You think of a topic: then you think a long time about if you really want to post it; then you think of what the answer will be; then you decide it is a dumb question and you really probably already know the answer; then you delete it from your mind; then you don’t have to try to delete it from the forum…

What happened is I posted an Amtrak article not realizing it was a week old ([:I]oops)
I didn’t see that till after I posted it. I thought I could delete it but I guess you can’t once someone responds.

Obviously you can delete your own posts-as long as you can remember your password. That can be fun because it may make the entire thread appear to be just babble.

You can delete a topic you start if no one has replied to it, after one reply then it is only the all powerful Bergie.
