Well I’m a little pi@#ed off about the whole thing but I was cleaning up my work area and saw a thin metal gasket laying on the floor. Now that gasket is only about .010" of an inch thick and I was just going walk by and pick it up. Unbeknown to me, there was a table with an engine block sitting on it holding it to the floor. When I went to pick it up, I pulled it through my hand cutting an artery, 2 nerves all 3 tendons. Needless to say I’ll be off work a few months. But all in all, I’m doing ok.[B)] [banghead] [D)]
P.S. Yep it’s my business hand. You should try and type with only your left hand. It takes a while.[:D]
Oh Marty - I am so sorry for you. That had to be a real trip! I hope you don’t have any long-term effects from this. 'Course, you won’t know until you can start using it again!
And to add insult to injury, you will have to watch all the utter nonsense they have on daytime tv! Oh my, this is serious!

Well anyways, lying down on the soaf suffering from whatever it is, I couldn’t move and couldn’t talk, AND guess what? I Was stuck watching TV all the crap like General hospital and Passions, you know THAT stuff…
WELL long story short, my Girlfriend also has this nervewaracking, and somewhat scary habbit of talking to the soap opera and saying stuff like "NO, LISA… not him!! CAn’t YOU SEE???
I don’t know what was worse, the bug, or wathcing soa operas every afternoon

Marty - watch Young and Restless - it is the best one on! However, tape it and fast forward through all the mercials and past the characters you don’t care for. Makes an hour show about 15 min long…oh I forgot - you are trying to kill time aren’t you…oops…

I was actually the one with the most posts to that topic, and also the most quoted. Perhaps I went a bit overboard there, but at the time, I felt that any comments not about O were off topic.
The topic title was vague, but the question was specific to O. I won’t say that all of the discussion wasn’t interesting. I actually learned a few things about different sized trains.
No actually he’s laughing at me. This thread started shortly after the same discussion on MR side. To help explain and give credit to those who had already do explaining. I posted the link, because several of us post on both the MR and Trains forums most notably the highly revered and oft quoted vsmith. I put the ACl comment in there because his posting style is similiar to a Trains member who hasn’t been on in awhile, but was noted for well…his style.
Well Mook, I don’t do the soaps [xx(] but I do watch the history channel a lot. I’m just a cornicopia of useless knowlege.
And as for you Dan, thanks for the offer of the meds but I have a pretty good supply for now.
Well Dan, I don’t mind if people laugh at me. After over 700 posts in just under 3 months, I’ve come to know who the players are around here, not only on MR, but on TRAINS and CTT as well, because you will find me on all 3. Not only did I see the link, I clicked on it to refresh my memory. I was the one who was foaming on that one.[:p][:D]
You and Kevin and Vic and ACL and I were all in on that one, and someone there taught me how to spell the word GAUGE. I am all too familiar with ACL these days, as I’m sure Kevin knows and will agree, after a major blow out over my topic entitled BUSTED.[:D]
