How do you get vertical

I’m trying the Atlas layout program and not being very literate with this stuff I can’t seem to get the track to go vertical, all I can do is lay it horizontal and I can’t turn it 90 degrees. Please help, I’m eager to get on with it

When you put a piece on track on your layout, it gets set horizontally, unless you attach it to an existing piece of track. Change the cursor to arrow and click on this element. On the top bar is a button called element, click on this and there is a button “turn element”

The above are the WinRail denominations, which is the basis for Atlas´ RTS system.

Just play with it a little - it works nicely once you get the knack of it.

Thanks Ulrich, I will try after Mothersday brunch because she certainly comes before trains. I was getting so click happy that I was about to give up. Thanks again
