How do you guys connect your track feeders wires?

Yup…strip the buss, strip the feeder, solder together, wrap in black electrical tape, move to the next…

My buss wires run along the outside of facia where they can be seen, not under the layout. The feeders are long enough to poke through a hole drilled in to the fascia, so all soldering is done from a standing position.

It doesn’t look as tidy as it could if that wiring was under the layout, but I don’t think my layout will make it into MR any time soon anyway.

I’m with the Rooster - I use the suitcase connectors with the special crimping tool to connect the feeders to the buss. Yes, I’ll agree that a soldered connection is superior, but for the purposes of a static model train layout, the method exceeds requirements and is certainly faster and more convenient.
