How do you put images in postings? I need help with this!!
What I’ve always done in the past, and continue to do, is upload my pictures to a website made just for that, like photobucket or flickr. Then, when you’re composing the post, you open that picture in that website in a separate window, right-click on it, and select properties at the bottom of the little list that comes up. Another little window will open that shows the path/file name of the picture- just highlight that full path/name with your mouse and hit Control-C to copy it. Go back to your post, put the cursor where you want to put the picture, hit Control-V, and it should put that path/file name there. Add {img} in front of the path/file name and {/img} after it, except use the square brackets instead of the curly ones (same keys). When you submit that post, voila! the picture will appear in it.
I’ve read elsewhere that this forum now accepts pictures for uploading directly to the posts- so far I haven’t checked into that, so don’t know how it’s done if possible.

As I (and others) have said, this needs to be stickied so many people are asking about it.
This is the 4th or 5th time today I have posted this link. And if you do a search, it does not show up on the first couple of pages of results.
…Why isn’t the path to install photos stickied…One of the more complicated moves on here and so many folks ask about it…Seems to me the photos would make the posts just that more interesting…
On the olf forum,I searched for a few old topics I posted (in the old forum), and they never showed up.
The title of one of them was just “trackmobile” I think (I wanted to know more about em, got plenty of replies), but nothing showed up in the search.
I hope the search feature has gotten better with the change over to the new forum.
Ask Bergie.
The search engine when in the new forum was initially useless. It does seemed to have improved. Try it again. One problem it still has is that you must do the search twice before it will produce any results. Another is that it does not have any search options like the old forum did.
Someone posted to ask Bergie. I have a question. Has anyone received a reply from him since the forum change over? He used to be good about replying to anything I sent to him. However, since the change over, he has not replied to anything I sent to him. Perhaps the bugs in the new forum are occupying all of his time.
