How Does This Sound???

heyy everyone my layout is almost cmplete i have a 11 siding yard with a turn table and all that good stuff well umm i was putting some ideas together and i came upon this. If i Bought a switcher for my yard do you think it would make it look cool if i left my switcher out in my yard for switching around.?? well i was thinking of the n scale csx switcher by atlas. is this a good idea. im looking for a nice conrail switcher in n scale because i will be running alot of norfolk southern and as you all should know norfolk southern bought out conrail so. if any one has a good website for switchers or just great ideas for a sucessful running engine then let me know thnx!

Keith

nope sorry i need model trains im looking for just an nscale switcher thnx n e ways though

www.atlasrr.com is the atlas website. If you are looking for discounted prices try www.trainworld.com or www.discounttrainsonline.com You might even look on ebay if you feel up to bidding against other people.

Not only cool but prototypical. I am acutally surprised this wasn’t the original plan. What were you planning on doing putting the swither into the round house every time is wasn’t used? With 11 yard tracks you could probably do with two switchers out there all the time. The BNSF yard here as about 16-20 tracks in two sets. They always have three sets of yard locos sitting / working it, as well as a few sets of road engines waiting to take the trains. The loco facilities are about 1/2 mile away.

Thanks Patrick. I was looking for some MKT switchers. This place was loaded with them. Thanks for posting. [:p]
