How I make temporary signage for structures

Hello All,
I’d like to share this method with the forums.
I don’t like leave a structure without any signs, so I stick something on them that attracts the eye and gives ideas, with the understanding that my clients have their own town and industry names they will wish to add.
So I’ve come up with these self-adhesive paper labels that just pop off.

I do signs a couple of way that are basically removable.

First, modern label printers have a pretty good selection of option to create good basic signs. You can even get tape in various colors, etc. The adhesive on the back of this tape varies according whether or its for use in wet locations, outdoor, etc. Generally, these peel right ofcc, but I’ve lifted paint a couple of time too, though.

The other way is to print your signs on a sheet of suitable paper. Get some .010" styrene sheet, cut to size to match the total area of the printed signs. Spray the styrene with 3M 77, let set for 60 seconds, then carefully lay the printed signs in place on the plastic and bond. You can then use scissors to cut you signs out. The stiff plastic backing helps them look good and can be bonded to most anything else.
