How is the new K-line GG-1?

I have ordered a K-line GG-1 by joining the K-line club and sending in my $110. They are waiting on the second shipment due “this fall”. Have any of you received the GG-1 yet and if so, how about sharing your feedback.

Hi Jake,

We’ve just finished a review of the K-Line GG1 and it will be in the February issue of CTT (January’s issue is at our printer already). It’s definitely a great bargain for $100, although it’s not as polished as, say, some of the Atlas O diesels. We tested a version with TMCC and RailSounds and it looks very good and ran well, although the speed-increment control isn’t as fine as some other locomotives that we’ve tested (ie: it is easy to go faster or slower than you want to go).
