I have 2 brothers and a sister but they are alot older than me so I was raised more like an only child.
my birthday is in may.

I’m the yougest of three, but the only male ( I think [swg] )I’m also the only one that was interested in the hobby. My dad thinks it;s neat but keeps to his stamps, complains that the trains are too small and detailed for his 70 year old eyes. On the upside my wife the oldest of three and both her parents are very involved in the hobby and the railway museum scene ( as am I ) yet her brother and sister ( twins ) detest anything real or fiction that runs on rails. Goes to show that you can’t pick your family.

I actually have a little brother 3 years younger than me. When he comes to see the layout, he always says something along the lines of “What’s that fancy $900 ‘DCC’ do again? And what’s the deal with the CSX engine with the yellow logo?” And I always reply “It lets you run trains in different directions on the same track (plus much more, as we all know) and that’s an AC6000CW.” His reply is “Wha?” So I hand him a utility throttle and tell him not to cause an evacuation on any nearby towns. (one train is hauling hazardous materials).

Oldest of 3 here. I think I wound up in the wrong spot, I’m taller than eveyone in my family, I’m left handed (everyone else is right), I have red hair (everyone else is either blonde or brown) and I’m the only one who likes trains!

I’m the oldest of three, and the only boy. Got annoying at times, but some of my best friends are like my brothers, so it worked out I guess.

I’ve almost always had trains, my dad (also the oldest, and for a long time, the only male) had trains, but never became as involved in it as I have.
