ordering a OGR BEEP??? Dave
I’m intrigued by the Beeps, and hope to get one someday but not an OGR one. Nothing against OGR, there are just more interesting roadnames.
Not me had a bad experience with the original. Wouldn’t run on 0-27 turn kept derailing. Emailed company and they never responded. Will not buy another thing from them.

laz, RMT has fixed that problem. As to the question, I ordered one. I’m getting the 2005 road number. The paint job reminds of the Soo Line paint scheme.
I have two Beeps a B&O and a N&W. The B&O Beep woundn’t run when I recieved it. I sent it back for replacement. They choose to repair it. It took several weeks. [V] Not a great choice when you’re trying to whoo new customers. It was finally returned and works well. I will buy more eventually regardless of my first experience. They’re too cute! [^] I run my N&W with a MTH bobber caboose. They were made for each other! I have no intention of buying the OGR one.
I’m not fond of giving free advertising for something I pay for!
[soapbox] Paticularly clothing!
Beeps are cool. My daughter want s one.
What does OGR stand for?
Jim
All those roadnames you have printed on your trains are advertising.
So what does OGR stand for and what is it advertising?
Jim
You’ve got to be kidding. The only people buying them are the OGR apologists. On the otherhand, I like the looks of the RMT beeps and plan to buy a couple from Jimmy Sutter, the PRR and P&LE models.
I have eight of the RMT BEEPs, and a couple of models offered earlier by Toy Truck Collector.
Aside from the O27 curve problem–which was corrected early-on and is definitely NOT a problem with the BEEPs offered today, I have had no difficulties with any of the BEEPs. I consider them as one of the best motive power values in O gauge, along with the K-Line Plymouth and the Lionel 0-6-0 (both of which are more costly).
I will not be ordering the OGR BEEP simply because I much prefer to stick with items lettered for real railroads, even if the items themselves are pure fantasy.
I’ll likely be ordering an Army BEEP later this week.
Try 'em! I’ll bet you’ll like 'em!
Hey Dave, Why don’t you ask this on OGR? Oh that’s right, you can’t[B)][:D]
My wife thinks Rich Melvin is handsome and with the red and white colors, I thought an OGR beep would make an appropriate valentines day gift.
Not interested in the OGR Beep. I do have on order a South Buffalo Railroad Lackawanna Bethlehem Steel Beep.
Rod MTH, otherwise known as RM’s water boy.[:0]
OGR is the initials for another magazine, O Gauge Railroading.
Office of Geologic Repositories
Order of the Golden Rule
Ordnance Gunnery and Readiness
Old Garden Rose…
I’m my own water boy! What a riot![;)]
