I don’t know if this counts, but I’m 16 and own a G scale layout. I primarily focus my efforts in the garden railway forum, but do on occasion venture over here. I also own an HO layout in my garage, but it is in a state of disrepair.
17, just got started in the hobby in October or so. my layout will be 4x8 but i haven’t been able to start, lumber yard isn’t open on weekends so my dad and i can’t go out there and get the wood to start.
Hey Jim,
Most lumber yards will deliver for a small fee, no matter the size of your order.
BTW, I read in one of your post (the one where you listed what you were looking
for at the show), that you were looking for CSX rollingstock. Well, I just so happen
to have three freight cars and a bay window caboose. Since I decided to go steam, I no longer need these. If you would like to have them, I can send them to you. I would rather see them put to use by someone who needs them. They are a little dusty but in fine condition. There is also another boxcar that needs a truck and wheelset. If you want these, drop me an email. Dave
I’m 12 years old, with a 16x8ft railroad that i’m changing over from a freelanced railroad to the Wisconsin and southern railroad. [:P][:P][8D][(-D][swg]
As a crotchety, crusty 51-year-old retired Navy Chief, I’d have to say too few…the more, the better! After all, it takes youth and energy to party hearty!
Have’nt seen teens in thirty some odd years. Still, best Hobby I’ve been in. Lets see, Stamps (philately), Woodworking(shop in the garage), as the progression goes, what;s next.[:D]
