How many types of engines are currently in service

I was wondering how many types of engines are currently in service and also have any new rail cars come out in the past 5 years. And how many types of frieght cars
are out there I so know most of them but I’m sure. there are some that I dont know of.

Box Cars
Flat cars
Tank Cars
Auto rack
Gondlas
Coal Hoppers
Grain Cars
coverd hoppers
high side grain cars
center beam cars
log haulers
And I am sure There are alot more but I can’t think. Of any more
If you can realy some to me The more I’ll know about railroading

Not sure if that could even be answered? Simply lots. And there are so many specialized cars that you couldn’t even make a complete list.
