Ok my buddy did pull through for me! He got me (2) full sheets of 2" and about a 4’x4’ of 2" and (1) full sheet of 1" and about 3 full sheets of broken up 1". The 1" chunks are about 2’x4’ and 4’x4’ and comes out to about 3 full sheets. I have already layed the most of them out. I still have about a 4x8 sheet of 1" left. It will be gone tomorrow night!
The good news is he will have about the much by this weekend if not monday night .

Wow! It’s about $22 at my local HD (Chicago suburbs). Menard’s just had 4 X 8 sheets on sale for a few dollars less. This stuff is pink so it’s a different manufacturer, but still…

I’ve found you can call up you relatives, and tell them to keep foam from large packages. I just picked up 2) 6 x 2 in. pieces of foam, about 4 feet long, and a few 8 x 8 pieces of foam about 4 feet long from a large birthday present my uncle got for his son. You’d be suprised what you could get.

Not bad if you want to spend a little extra. What is it about $29 for enough to make a 4x8 sheet.
It is a real reliable place to get it. I have ordered just about 90% of my RC stuff from Tower Hobbies sence 13 years old. I normaly have my orders in about 2-4 days. They are fast for their customers that have been with them for a long time and they are just about as fast for new comers.
28.76 would be the exact price. I only use it if I’m in a real crutch…my LHS carries pretty much everything…
