I am fifteen
[:D]
Im 21 Years old. Been modeling since I was 4.
I’m 17 right now, so I’m one of the younger people in this hobby. I’ve loved trains all my life and my interest has done nothing but grow over the years.
jeepers! it’s good to know I’m not the only kid around. I’m 16.
Im only 15 and haved loved trains since i was able to realize what they were. My grand Father worked For Grand Central Terminal when i lived in New York. I never new him, he died just after i was born, but I get to hear all of the stories from my father.
Too young for Rachel Welch and too old for Brittany Spears.
I am 28 soon to be 29 in dec. been modelin 13 yrs now
I’m 13. Loved trains all my life.
I am, in what they call the golden years, 66. I’ll be damned if I know why they call them golden, it seems like a bit of the body kind of gives out or gets arthritis with each passing year over 55. You kids are in your golden years so enjoy them, old age comes way too soon.
I’m 21.
I’m 12 and have loved trains ever since I was 2 yrs. old.
Alex in the sooner state
I’m 34 and have been a train nut since about age eight, although I took a break from model railroading from ages 19 to 33.
41 - 46 age group but only just!
Been modeling nearly as long!

I guess I’m Too young for Rachel Welch too, but just about old enough for Elizabeth Hurley. I’m 33, have been a fan of railroading all my life since my grandfather hand build brass steam engines in narrow gauge. I didn’t get my model railroad start until I was 12 though. Tough to stop now, too much fun.
I,m 75 and glad I had this wonderful hobby to fall back on when I retired. My mother said the first word that I said was train( I think it might have been the second). I’ve been building HO trains since I was 12.
I’m glad this question was asked. I thought this forum was skewed to a younger modelling audience - now I know. This is not intended as a value judgement, just an observation.
i’m 17. just started in the hobby.
its nice to see that there are people my age that are in this hobby. i was a show recently and i was the youngest person there i think that was actually buying stuff. not just there with dad because mom was out shopping or something.
if any of the people in the 16-18 yr. old range want to talk. i’m on MSN all the time or i have AIM but never use it.
I am 24 soon to be 25…althought i usually feel 74 soon to be 75. I have been into trains since my eyes opened, and have been into this hobby in depth since i was about 14. As for Rachel Welch or Britney Spears??? I dunno call me crazy but i think im just the right age for Jessica Simpson (and not to sound concieted but i think im a lot better lookin than Nick Lachey) LOLOLOL
approximately 14,429 days, and 14 hrs (however leap years might change the #s a bit), but then again, who’s counting
I am suprised to see that the majority of modelers that have voted to this point are from 20-40 years of age after all that we’ve heard about modeling railroaders becoming an aging group. I suspect though that this is due to many older generations lack of interest in the internet and computers in general.
