How the heck can I make N-scale dried leaves.

I’m thinking maybe saw dust, but I don’t know if it will be fine enough.

First, grow some N Scale trees… [:D]

Ok seriously, I’d suggest putting real brown leaves in a blender or food processor, then sifting them through progressively finer screens (a set of kitchen strainers would do it) then select the sizes you think looks best.

I second the dried leaves in the blender idea…I’ve tried it and nothing looks more like something than the real thing…only in miniature.
