how could i add wieghts to the athearn husky stack container cars?

Is there room underneath between the trucks?

If they’re loaded, use lead sheet glued to the container floors, inside the containers - I use an old offcut of roofing lead for this. Just be careful as lead is toxic. Fix it using either PVA glue (for containers where the sides and floor are a one-piece moulding, such as the Walthers 48ft containers, leave the top off for a day or two to allow the glue to dry) or gel cyano adhesive. Tank containers take a little more planning - I use a piece of lead bent to fit inside the barrel and fixed with gel cyanoacrylate. Only add weight to the containers on the bottom deck.

If you’re planning to run the cars empty this will be much harder - my advice here is if you want to run empty double-stack cars, buy the Walthers ones - these have diecast metal bodywork and are thus heavier.

I also add weights to the bottom of the containers.
