How to change couplers

thank you Ilearned alot

This is the most timely and useful video in some time. I’m finally building again and all of my old locos and rolling stock are from the 60’s & 70’s. Now I know what to do thanks to Tim.

I know how my next serveral months of evenings will be filled. :).

If that’s a delayed action coupler he put the spring in upside down, looks like.

wow, thats neat…i was wondering what i could do with my old horn and hook cars, now i know! where did you get the talgo adaptors? i dont think i have ever heard of them? thanks,

I take the Bachmann couplers, for about 100 cars it’s cheaper. And there’s no more parts to mount. There are only some coupler boxes, you have to clean first with a knive.

Very Good

liked artical, but what is the benefit of talgo-trucks?

Here I have been removing these things and replacing them. I didn’t know they could be used. Thank you so Very much!!!
