How does one do a search on this site, I have tried everything. I want to build a drop down bridge so I don’t have to duckunder the layout. I have typed in how to build a drop down bridge, 0 found, lift out bridge, 0 found, a bridge 0 found, I then typed in how to ballast track, 0 found. Is it possible to search this site at all, or am I just wasting my time trying to find something.
Type drop bridge in the search community box, not in the search this site box.

Are you using the SEARCH THIS SITE or the SEARCH COMMUNITY search engine? I’ve had best results using the latter, which is on the right-hand side of the page.

I’m going to have to agree with Woodman on this one. Just for fun I tried several “bridge” entries in the “Search the Community” box and didn’t get anything useful and a lot that was unrelated. I’m not sure what the correct search term would be.

A while back in another thread someone recommended using Google with the option “site:cs.trains.com” without the quotes at the end of your search string. It works much better than the community search. It is all I use anymore.
