How to just reply?

Every time lately that I try to reply to any topic, it registers my reply as a quote of the last post. there is no other option offered. Help?

It works OK for me.

Only if you click on the blue “Quote”, your post will be registered as such, quoting the previous poster´s text.

Are you at any time clicking on ‘Quote’?

  1. Click REPLY on the post you want to reply to.

  2. Before you click QUOTE you can highlight the portion of the text you want to quote.

  1. you can highlight another part of the text and click QUOTE again to reply to a different part of that post.

  2. Sit down with the LION and enjoy breakfast.

I didn’t know that! When I wanted to quote only a certain specific thing, I have always pressed quote and then deleted the part to which I did not want to refer. Your suggestion makes it much easier. Thanks, Lion.

I would send your some catnip or lion-nip in gratitude but I don’t have any and don’t know how to send it through this forum. Pictures? Yes. Physical stuff? No.
