David, I have all of the tools you used as well as the visor. All I lack is your skill. Very, very complete information. I now know what you do when you leave MRVP each day. You are probably a neurosurgeon.

Re: the decoder installation. I feel that “mechanical only” electrical connections are points-of-failure. Whenever I’m faced with these during decoder installs, I replace these with a piece of wire soldered to the connections.

Awesome, thanks David!

Great video David, confirms what a little patience and care could make a job much easier.
Thanks

I think that David Popp is one of the best how-to narrators; his laid-back, friendly and informative comments and instructions, given with the obvious assurance of a lot of experience under his belt, and with a professional style, make for a thoroughly enjoyable video experience. Keep 'em coming, David! (Well-done videos, too; kudos to the staff!)

Nice class David, it’s also nice to see that you can have shaky hands like I do and still install and solder something. I alway end up turning over my DDC installations to a friend. You make me want to try it myself. Keep up the good work.

Thanks David. What I need is a sound decoder for N scale steam locomotive. Thanks Charlie
