how to model spanish moss in HO?

Looking for suggestions for modeling spanish moss (that stringy stuff on trees in the southeastern U.S.). Also need sources of info on modeling terrain and vegetation in the southeastern states (Florida, Georgia, etc.).

If you are still looking to model Spanish Moss take look through a copy of the May 1991 Model Railroader magazine you will find on page 80 and article - Model A Florida Swamp - Cypress Trees, cypress knees, Spanish mos, and Spanish needles.

This should be just the ticket for you.
