As I sit here waiting for my pain pills to kick in I realize I have no idea how to place online business’ or how to set it up. I know theres a book but I dont think I need to spend the money on the book tht shows how all I need is some pictures and a quick description. Thanks in advance.
I’m not sure what you are asking. Placing an on-line business on your layout is no different than any other business.
If you are talking about some virtual world, I think you need to say so.
I wouldn’t be too quick to skip buying that book, especially if it’s by Kalmbach or Carstens. They’ve researched their material, not just speaking off-the-cuff. $20 seems like a small amount to invest for accurate information.
OTOH, you might try downloading/installing GoogleEarth and using that to get closeup ariel views of some lineside industries in your favorite city. Then you’ll see exactly how the prototype industries are connected to their RR’s.
