Extending the museums tracks to connect with the coming Metrolink extension sounds like a real winner to me. there might be other oppurtunities like this across the US and Canada. One such oppotunity could be if a metra extension ever comes to pass from Elgin, Illinois to Rockford, serving the Illinois Railway Museum since the coming Illnois-sponsored Amtrak service will be routed over the CN (ex-IC) route instead of the UP (ex-C&NW) route wwhich goes right by it. Another one coulld be for the South Elgin Trolley Museum to extend north to the Metra Station there.
