This is for you 4884 BIGBOY . I have made a bunch of these vehicles for my layout and for selling on Ebay. Here is how I make them. The nicest ones are Boley Crew Cab Stakebeds with Details West Hy-Rail kits, Walthers2005 pg 968. Custom Finishing also make HY-Rail accesories. The scratch built ones are styrene and N Scale wheel sets attached to various Boley and Trident vehicles.Then just add your railroad logos to the doors! I am working on some X-Conrail trucks right now. Here are more Pics.

Josh, Good work!

It’s nice to see models of railway work trucks and cars on this forum as photos of them are seldom posted here. Would be good to see more!

That king cab truck (first two photos) looks just like the big CSX M.O.W trucks that I see running around in Tampa. Seems like track and signal maintenance work has stepped up around here.

Have to admit though that for me it’s still an odd experience seeing one of these vehicles running on the railroad tracks!

Thanks Josh! The first one is just like the ones I see all the time! Those are so cool! Have you figured out a way to power them? It looks like it’d be hard to fit a motor in them, but you never know…
