I found a very informative web site

I was searching for some pictures of coal loading operations when I came across this site. Maybe some of you know of it. If not let me tell you it’s got lots of great info. http://www.catskillarchive.com/rrextra/index.html
Maybe it will help with a project.[^]
I’m in love with trains…don’t tell my wife!!![:D]

Someone, not long ago was asking about turn of the century locomotives, May have been spacemouse???, this should help him a whole lot. Ken

I’m proud to be the most famous ignoramous on Trains.com. I actually saw that site a while back and used it to learn geared locomotives. Time to go back and look around again. I bookmarked it this time.

Just bookmarked it too! Some Gooooooooooood stuff there! Now, if we could only get one (or two) of the better manufacturers to release some of the 19th century steam locos…?

Thank you vary much a great! site,I’ve got it book marked for ref.

Jim

Your not an Ignoramous. your learning jsut like alot of other people are. I’m still learning how to do grades. everyone has to start somewhere. And it is a wonderful site. I’ll make sure i email the link to my dad. I’m not a a real big steam fan but he is.

I’m glad you guys like it. I’m studying drafting and architecture so I especially like the engineers drawings and demensioning of the turntables, and the cross sections of the coal loaders. Also the write up on steam loco engineers job description. Neat-O [:)][:)]
