WHO CARES
Wait, didn’t see the box car. Take that back. Even so Elvis was surely no “KING”
8500HP that was damn right rude.
No king? Hmmmm…ask anyone who worked for him, or benefitted from his generosity, and I think they would differ with you.
Great photo there! Was that taken at ?
Elvis was always a giving person; his favorite time of year was Christmas. He always enjoyed giving more than receiving. He will always be known as the “King” in my book!
Tell my sister that he wasn’t “King” and she’ll crown you, with a skillet.
HOLD ON A SEC. I WAS JOKING. Maybe I should have put in some [:D] [;)]
My mom is the biggest Elvis fanatic.
Sorry to offend. Wasn’t my intention.
Ya right you was being a donk and now you feel bad…well back to the Choo Choo room for you.
Not only was he The King, but he was also a Big Boy. [:D]
Elvis was a giving person, yeah…he once gave a TV four slugs from a 44!

Only one of the greatest Americans ever ! and as important to US history and culture as Washington, Franklin etc etc
rofl this thread…
one retort and get comedied back…
I recall the day he died, I worked a short stint as a disc jockey and driving to work I heard about it, the end of the work day I play “My way” by him.
Wow, I was working as a college DJ when the news came over the wire that he had gotten married. We did it up with the full “News Bulletin” thing, y’know, “We interrupt this program…” like the Martians had landed. I think I played “Hound Dog” afterwards.
Yeh a couple of years back I thought my mother in law was going to smack me silly for saying Elvis stinks. So after that no more saying bad things about the"king"
p.s nice boxcar[:)]
My memory is waking up that morning and hearing the news that the king was dead and asking my dad " but we don’t have a king only a queen"(here in the UK)
Shaun
I remember the day Elvis died. It was the same day I got out of the Air Force. Guess who I heard all the way from Wichita Falls to Amarillo? Love him or hate him, he was one helluva talent, and a big influence on our lives (at least to us old rascals…)
Gasturbine, That was the funniest reply I seen in a long time. I actually didn’t see the boxcar either until I read your reply. Long Live the KING!![(-D]
Well for what ever its worth. Elvis is the only person I know to have a #1 hit 30 YEARS AFTER HE’S DEAD!!!
