I’m not sure how much of this (if any) is new material, but I plan on buying it sight unseen. I’ll report back more details after I watch it. If anyone has received and viewed the DVD, please share your thoughts with us!!

I sitting here with it on the desk, but I am writing this and not looking at it. It is 11:56pm local time and I probably will wait to morning. I liked the first one, but not the second.

I haven’t got it but I’m just making a post anyway, Good luck!

Haven’t received a copy yet and may not (I returned the 2nd one). From the subject titles listed by manndg I believe I recognize several from the Tracks Ahead series. Fortunately however and thankfully, they seem fewer relative to other content than for the first two installments.

I hope I get mine soon, Fortunately or unfortunately I never really got to see the Tracks ahead series so lots of the items are new to me.[:o)] I have enjoyed the series so far.

Better than not having them. The material is good, if not new, and I have it, rather than some TV station. I appreciate MR’s willingness to market these pieces.

I just received my copy today. Will try to watch it tonight, depending on what the boss LOL) has planned. For those of you with DISH network, I’ve noticed that HDNET is replaying the Tracks Ahead series on Saturday mornings (10:00 am EDT). Fun to watch some of the old shows.

I just got some Thomas & Friends videos but no Vol. 3 yet [:(] guess I will keep looking.

When I received Vol. 2, it sat on my desk for several weeks. Then my computer went on the fritz. When I finally got to check out the DVD, there was several parts I couldn’t see because a portion of it was on CD ROM. I was very dissatisfied with it. Was it really that good? The portion on DCC wasn’t worth including. The whole thing should be viewable on DVD and not just a portion. I’m not sure what Volume 3 will bring.

What’s on the collector coin that comes with Vol 3?

I gotta send in my payment for volume 2 . DOH !@@

I got the 1st. & 2nd. DVD and decided to keep them both. They are interesting and inspiring viewing for me. Seeing George Selios’ layout was worth the price. I am assuming if you pay for your subscription by credit card they have it on file and will bill for the DVD’s accordingly?[?] I have not received the 3rd. one yet, maybe soon.[:)] I think I will most likely keep them all, as I feel they would make a good video library and something to pass along to the grandchildren in hopes of spreading more interest in a great hobby[8D]

I returned vol 2. I hope that doesn’t mean they will stop sending them as I would like to at least preview them and pick and choose the ones I want.

The Dream-Plan-Build series is a continuity series, but each disk is a separate transaction. We don’t charge your credit card automatically.
I just watched the first copy of volume 4 yesterday. It has some pretty nice how-to stories on it, that we just taped, and I think you’ll really like it also.
Thanks for reading MR,
Terry

Where’s my no. 3? Need a fix. [8]

I watched Volume 3 and really enjoyed it. The wife wasn’t so thrilled, but she doesn’t like any of my other train videos either. LOL I think I will be keeping this one.

John

Terry, how come I don’t get any of these?

I’m a subscriber. Who gets them?

I got my volume 3 yesterday and viewed it last night. I thought it was much better than previous ones (felt 2 was borderline). Particularly liked the how-to topics because they showed more detail demonstration. For me, good stuff on weathering, spray painting, trees and scenery. I could easily trade the toy train history and a few other topics for more modeling. But very good in total, and I’ll keep it. (Incidently, out of the blue my take it or leave on trains wife, thought it was really good and watched the whole thing with me. Amazing!) I wish you could pay for it online.though
