I have a few screws missing

Okay now that I have your attention…

I notice a lot of Kadee conversions ask you to use specific screw sizes which are really really tiny don’t come with the couplers.

So where do you find these screw sets? They are way too tiny to find at Lowes or Home Depot.

Kadee sells most of the screws called for. You can get many at Walthers.

This is just one place, detail associates carries screws washers etc in small sizes yes walthers and most LHS carry them.

If you go to the great scale model train show in Timonium April 1,2 you should find some.

Man I thought you meant you had lost some “important” screws.[swg][swg]

You can find gobs of these (2-56) at Radio Smack.

I just bought a bunch of various sizes along with washers and nuts from http://www.microfasteners.com/index.cfm They’ll sell you 100 for the cost of about a dozen at hobby places.

The Kadee delrin screws can work wonders for those odd lengths. The plastic screw can be cut to any desired length. I find that I’m using them all the time now.

2/56 is not the only size called for in Kadee installations
