Guys!
I have made some progress with my benchwork. Lots of work left to do but it’s always a start.

Well, that looks darn professional. How will you transition to the upper level ?
Good looking bench worjk. Good looking room it sits in. Soon you will need trees. Thanks for sharing
GAPPLEG,
The transition to the upper level will be like this:
My track plan is located at www.thrutherockies.com
Here are two more pictures:
I like the benchwork so far. I have read so much about carpeting helping on the back and feet in the train room but like you I am planning on putting hardwood down in my trainroom. Should make it easier to clean up after working on the railroad.
I also like your website. Very professional looking and thought out.

Yes, you certainly have made progress, EL. Good for you! Very promising.
What part of the track plan is that benchwork?
What wood did you use on it?
I think it looks very very good.
Lookin good there, Electro!
Why does that L-girder benchwork look so familiar? [swg]
Safety Valve,
The benchwork you see is Denver North Yard on the trackplan. The wood I’m using is 1 x 4" and 1 x 2" for the L-girder. 2 x 2" for the legs and 1 x 2" for all the rest. I’m using regular drywall screws. L-girder is glued with white glue (CASCO).
Joe,
I can’t remember the name of that benchwork guy, but I think the first letter is J [swg]
Nice bench work looks like you are off to a good start…Keep the pictures coming…Cox 47
