I like the 1990-2001
I wish i could have witnessed the last steam days.
My main interest period is between 1950 and 1970. From 1971 to 1994 would be second.
I like all of the new, modern, high horse power engines and the ever changing paint schemes. I do like steam engines a lot also.
Willy
worked there during that decade. kinda partial to it. 1991/2000
If I could have voted for more than one decade, I would have included 1951-1960.
I love all trains from any era, but I voted for 1951-60. Even though I was born in 1986 I am especially fond of steam engines and first generation diesels. I often wish I’d been born earlier so and could have seen that great era of railroading.
I wish I could be somewhere on the PRR’s Northeast Corridor during World War 2. Horseshoe Curve would be cool too.
I like trains that are steam or diesel. Any era is good for me.

1987-2003 and plus, cause i was born in 1987…[:D][8D]
I like the 60s as well as the 70s…I always found the 70s interesrting…To my mind this was a era of change in several ways.
Say 1956-1967 - before Amtrak when ATSF ran between LA and Chicago.
More mixed freights - starting piggyback.
I like 40s - 50s. The change from Steam to Diesel. The last of teh great passenger trains before the airlines took over.
Hey this poll is BOGUS!!!
What happened to pre- WWII years?
They never happened? Thanks for letting me know there were no trains before 1940.
I chose 1991 - 2000 or on
I like some new locomotive e.g SD90MAC
