I need clothes :)

I have bought Preisers ‘Eve’ which are 6 posable ladies (all nude [:0] ). They are in my scale 1:22.5 [^]and it is hard to find female figures for my era (1800s) [:(] . If I buy these what would you suggest I use to ‘clothe’ them[:I] so they will be ok outside ?
Thanks in advance[8D]

How about a G string and pasties? Put them hanging out the window of the brothel![:D]
You could just paint that on![swg]

Shame on me[][:D][:D]

See if there is a store that has doll house supplies in your area. If no specialty shop exists, you could try a craft supply house.

The best material to “Clothe” a plastic figure such as this would be epoxy putty. You can dress the figure a section at a time and it will harden after a certain amount of time. I must warn you though that it takes a bit of practice and some artistic ability to have it come out convincingly. You could also apply wax with a hot wax pen , sculpt the details and make silicone molds of the finished figure. Either way it requires patience and a bit of skill!

Brothel areas would never have been called the red light district if it hadn’t been for the railroad breakmen hanging their red lanterns outside the brothel so they could be found easier in the event of an emergency.

G string and pasties wouldn’t have been right now that I think about it. They would have been hanging out the windows with corsets on. The bawdy house ladies were much more modest in them days.[:D]
