I need info on a diesel horn

I recently came in posession of a diesel horn and would like
to find some information on it

Double horn silver marking on base N8135
at base of short horn (11 inches D140-1
at base of long horn (17 inches) PROF-NR A 7060
The A is enclosed in a circle
There was a name plate at the end of the long horn
but unfortunately it had been removed.

We’ll give you the benefit of the doubt and presume you came by the horn legitimately…

What you may have is a Leslie two chime air horn. If you can get a picture of the horn I can identify it for you much easier. You may also have a Nathan horn but doubt full. Two chimes were used on F-units and smaller switchers back in the day. They were also used on Milwaukee road Box cabs once but where then replaced with the blat horn.

Thanks for the infomation. From the websites I believe I have a Wabco
horn. It narrows down a t the base and the bracket is similar to those
on the Wabco’s. Sorry I don’t have a camera to get a picture
and yes I did obtain it legitimately. Thanks again.
