I Need to Play the Lottery

So last week my two-year old son got a hold of my Proto 1000 N scale GP-38-2. He destroyed the handrails, but luckily the couplers and plows were unharmed.

The handrails went missing on my berber carpet that I have. I was mad as heck, but I could not blame him, because he loves Thomas and he loves his “choo choos.”

So yesterday I spent the better part of what I thought would be three + hours combing the berber carpet like I was trying to find a needle in a haystack.

I found the left handrail section first, remarkably intact. I was apalled. I immediately glued that section of handrail onto the GP-38-2. Within another five minutes, looking in the same section, I found the front handrail, and then the rear handrails.

Both intact.

They required nothing more than a little glue.

Good thing because the Proto 1000 N scale GP-38-2 parts are non-existent any more from Walthers.

  1. Play the lottery

  2. Let your son pick the numbers.

At least you found the missing parts.

The thing about the lottery…I read somewhere that if you play 50 times a week, it would take about 500 years to win a “major lottery”.

LOL, I wish he COULD pick numbers. Do you know the chances of winning the lottery with the winning numbers that he knows, 2? 2222222? Something worse than I’m guessing about a billion to one. LOL.

Hi,

Just a fact here. The 7 digit number that you mention, 2,222,222, has as much of a statistical chance at winning the lottery as any other of the 9,999,999 numbers.

So maybe you’re on to something here! [2c]

Yeah I know. I’m not even sure how many lottery numbers there actually are.
