First of all, a BIG Thank you to those who have contributed or have indicated that they will contribute.
Secondly, we still are in need of more power packs. I’ve retyped the original query here:
I work at a camp during the summer and teach a Model Railroad elective during the weeks the campers are their. We build little dioramas/layouts (each of the kids do, I just teach them.) The problem is that we need at least ten of the small train power packs (you know, the ones that come with the low priced train sets.).
If you guys have any that you don’t need, or don’t use, could you consider sending them to

If you have promised to send a power pack or whatever to Camp Joy-El, I need you to send it in as soon as possible. Summer is rapidly aproaching and we need to get all our supplies ready.

I have three piece of crap bachmanns that I never get to work (the new train set ones, not the old ones [of which I have two{will not part w/ them}])
I’ll test them and see what the problem is, then I’ll convince my parents to help me out and send them.

I doubt they’ll work w/ anything but EZ track. I’ll test them tonight or this weekend or some time. Then I’ll ask my parents about this. Don’t depend on me, pewriod. Either the power packs won’t work, or the parents will say no. Considering the nature of the camp (aka who runs it), my dad will probably say yes. I’ll bring it up when they’re both in a good mood (Sunday).

I just got back. I got to chase a UP coal train from Dixon to Rochelle. The wife was wondering what I was up to.
