I wi***hey would make......

I would like to see MTH make a semaphore signal head to fit on their
PRR Signal Bridge

I wonder if you could kitbash a 3-position semaphore signal on top of that bridge using the existing wiring? Hmmmmmm.Maybe, as you probobly know, the pennsy signal is designed to mimic the semaphores position in “fog piercing” amber light.

I dont know of anybody making such a bridge w/ semaphores but Im sure you could kitbash one w/ a little ingenuity.

Ooooh, this topic kind of gives me the shivers. Well intended I know. BUT when these things would come up on the other Fourm, they were one thread that really turned me off and I know for a fact, turned off other 027 guys. Because they became long shopping lists of scale items.

Now there’s nothing wrong with that. I’m certain the companies that look on the forums read these things and take notes of what gets mentioned frequently. Obviously with any company in any field, what gets made is what stands the best chance of selling.

I’ve always wished for just one, just one new modern kind of engine to be made on a size equivalent level of the traditonal small Alco FA.

BUT what I’m going to wish for here is quality. That small low end engines either have 2 motors or be weighted accordingly. That cars continue to be either painted - or if molded from color, get enough color in the plastic so that they are opaque - it can be done. That new products get tested before going out to the public.
(The Beep is a good example of an engine for us 027 guys as well as everyone. It was advertised as making 027 curves, but the initial ones didn’t do it without derailing cars.)

That the companies continue to make the widest variety of trains they can - so that there’s stuff in every catalog to appeal to every budget. I applaud Lionel for the $24.95 starter cars and continually changing the road names: Train-19 and Rugged Rails have languished in this department.

That the companies recognize they have some REAL DEVOTED customers who are spending some serious money on trains. That if they are going to continue to offer technological advances and features, that they do their utmost to be sure they work in the first place, are prepapred otherwise to service them rapidly and professionally.

It’s bad enough when a command type of product doesn’t work. Chances are a seasoned train buyer has purchased this. But it’s a crime when something in a starter set does

I would like to see a hogwarts express set in ogauge. I would prefer scale(only because I like bigger engines, due to my standard gauge roots) but anything that came out in hogwarts would be snapped up by me. Actually I like the older English steam engines and would like to see some made by lionel or k-line.

I wi***hey’d make the price of plywood cheaper so I could build my addition and get my train room!!
