I wish I could get excited like this! (video)

I’ve seen some people get excited about things but this takes the cake.

[(-D] Charles

That made Comedy Central’s Tosh.O a few months back. Classic

I would have like the B12? more than the e-unit.

That´s why we are into this hobby - getting as excited as little children at Christmas Day!

Well, I DO declare…

I guess he was excited.

I get about as excited seeing a new steam loco up and running, BUT i have learned to keep my mouth shut!

Actually, this is the one that made Tosh.O on Comedy Central…my bad.

Well, at least he didn’t try to run up to the unit and plant a big kiss on it. Also hope he had extra undies with him.

And of course someone has posted the inevitable parody … the original sound track to different visuals

I am reminded however that there are some railfans, who shoot video, who just fervently pray that everyone around them just shuts up while they are filming. I have heard some hilarious exchanges caught on tape between the clueless talkers and the shushing videographer.

There is a certain amount of showboating by these “super foamers” that can get very tiresome after a while, even to their fellow foamers.

Dave Nelson

That was good to see with the volume muted. Would’ve been nice to hear it without him running his mouth all the time.

And I thought I got really excited to see a D&RGW K-28! I was downright muted in my admiration compared to this fellow.

One thing about this guy, no one is going to claim he is not passionate about his trains. I have never seen any kind of verbalization like this over trains in my life. I am glad he was made a doublely happy guy.

Great piece. Cracked me up. Thanks for sharing this.

Richard

Hilarious! . . . .But great to see!

ROFLMAO!

Dave, I concur… ROFLMAO!! It almost looked like he was getting on the locomotives’ nerves…

You could douse a good sized fire with all that foam …

Randy

That “depends”.

I agree. He was saying “Listen to that bell!” but all I could hear was him yelling.

Kevin

I could hear the bell and it sounded like any other locomotive bell…

Of course that’s called “railfan hearing”…You gain that after 50 years of railfaning-that’s a year or two before you become deaf from listening to loud horns…[(-D][swg]

I wonder what he would sound like if he saw NKP 765?

On second thought I don’t really wanna know…[:O]

He might hit soprano! High C even.

I hate to be the party pooper, but this “excited guy” is poking fun at a few other videos circulating around the internet. His “excited” reactions are a spoof/parody of these:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OQSNhk5ICTI which was posted in Jan 2010 and

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RhYXNwvcl6A which was posted back in Feb 2012.

This “excited train guy” was on MSN’s home page a few days ago. It’s a shame that MSN is a little behind times, because this parody was made a few months ago.

If you’re still not convinced, CNN did a story on this parody:

I hope he saw a doctor if his “excitement” lasted longer than 4 hours!
