Ice and no trains

Well Its a mess here in Paducah Ky. We still have no power at my house. I noticed there have been no trains thru here since the BNSF local left early tuesday morning. signals went dark 2 days ago ( i guess batteries finally ran down. )

we got hit really hard with this I don’t think there is a tree that has a top left in it.

Well, according to my scanner, there’s not much leaving

Louisville heading towards your direction.

Besides the fact of no power, they’re having trouble with

a lot of switches around the Oak St. yard and the Riverport

here; have not heard about any rail problems just yet.

Luckily, we still have power; and we have a top on our pine tree;

just no branches! (after the “Blizzard” of 2004, the "Hurricane of 2008

and this storm, it’s starting to look like a utility pole!)

well what ever Ike did not destroy this ice storm did. Lots of downed trees on the line. the BNSF local that left Tues had to wait to get trees cleared. I am sure there are more

Pardon my curiosity, with no power at your house…how did you manage to power your computer to send your post?
