Back in the late 80’s and early 90’s I started collecting N scale Kadee/ Micro-Train cars. I am just getting back into it though more of a hands on running rather than displaying them. Almost all were in their orginal boxes. I have 2 cars without boxes and I am not sure if they are Micro-Train. They are a a Rock Island 50’ Single Door Ribside box car in the blue color and modern logo with car #ROCK300460 and also a black Norfold and Western 50’ Standard Double Door with car #NW285243. Do you know if or where Micro-Trains put a trademark on their cars?
Thanks for any information.
Brent
Although I model in HO, I am collecting the current MicroTrains Canadian cars. The words MicroTrains 1996 USA and the copyright symbol are located along the center axis of the car, between the center sill rails, just to the B end of the center of the car. Also each truck is stamped with Micro Trains (as 2 separate words).
Hope this helps.
Wow, tiny little buggers but I did find them. It took 2 pair of reading glasses and a magnfine glass. I must be getting old[:)]
I live in Medicne Hat AB and want to down size my N scale collection and keep only Canadian Pacific 60’s and earlier which I plan on running and not just looking at them.
Thanks for the tip.
