I just ran out to Dollar General to buy some white glue for ballasting track. They had 4-ounce bottles of their store brand for 25 cents each. They were practically giving the stuff away! I bought 8 bottles along with some 91% isopropyl alcohol and a sprayer. I was out of there for less than 5 bucks. according to the tag on the shelf, the sale is running through September 5.
This happens on occasion. A few years ago Wal-Mart had Elmer’s in that size squeeze bottle for less per ounce than it was in a gallon jug. Best part was it gave me a sorce of squeeze bottles for applying diluted glue, matte medium and anything else I wanted to put in them.
Hope some folks can take advantage of your suggestion.

I recently saw regular sized sprial noteboks for like 10 cents.
It is nearing the end of July.
Guess what they start doing this time of year?

White glue would fall into that category, so would the spiral bound notebooks!
ANd they are often DIRT CHEAP.
NOW is the time to LOOK for things we use THAT MIGHT be considered {or actaually are} “school supplies”…maybe even india ink, inks, artists paints, brushes and stuff like artists chalks {for weathering}, etc.
So keep an eye out for CHEAP school supplies that we can use for MRRIng!
