Want an instant collection full of bona-fide prewar rarities? I spotted this bay auction and wanted to pass along the info since it’s all the kinds of things you never see in person outside of a museum.

Wait a minute! Sold “as is?” Does that mean for that kind of bread they don’t work? I mean really!

Probably a “True” collector. Can’t dare lowering their value by finding out if they work! [;)]

With a price tag like that, I think it’s reasonable to say these will safely remain the kind of thing I’m never going to be seeing in person (except at a museum). Good luck to em on securing a sale…
