Well sometimes they are and sometimes they aren’t.
There are enough times the railroads have gotten lazy or otherwise screwed up that it is newsworthy. People got killed who shouln’t have gotten killed.
Most of the time, the person who gets whacked is at fault.
Very true. For the first time just this past weekend I saw a foolish driver litterly go anound the crossing gates here in town as the Train was quickly approaching the crossing. Luckly for that idiot he or she made it just in time. Allan.

See that one on the Discovery/Times channel every once and a while. Only watched the whole thing the first time. Its based on the NY Times editorials from a few years back. They don’t state that it is based on editorials until the credits and even then its only on screen a second or two.[:(!]
NY Times doing that pretty much killed all respect or trust in anything that paper and channel says or does.
