Other (Speicfy)

Dont have to chose, it already does.
BNSF, former Ft Worth and Denver line, Joint CB&Q/Rock Island venture.

It is BN’s main line into Houston, sees at least one train per hour.

Welcome!
Not CN, not at all! Far too many derailments on that front! I’d have to say CP, just a big CP fan. But being on the UP main would be interesting…

Any road that runs equipment with flanged wheels.

Rochester & Southern - a shortline serving a few big businesses, including coal to two of Eastman Kodak’s power stations. I’d like their Brooks Ave yard in my back yard. Once in a great while some interesting freight cars come rolling in over there.

I’ve aleady got a NS line right next to my house!

I would like Guilford Rail to go past my house…

88gta350, Does it look something like this?

An abandoned one.

Maglev wouldn’t hurt either.[;)]

well I have the IAIS milan branch near my home now and if things go right with a house I am going to look at I will be 4 blocks from their yard. I have had the Rock Island run by my house ( oh the good old days) and the BN. But I guess I would like to see the Rock again just rolling by like them good old days then turn to my back yard and watch BN merger motors ( the old GN blue boats were my favorite) roll by with the GE’s stacks on fire as they lug an ore train by.

Well I already have BNSF just a stone throw away but I wouldn’t mind being near San Joaquin Valley Railroad’s cross valley lline.

[#ditto]

But I’d prefer Conrail.

BNSF. Maintenance of Way in this Division is top notch!

Well I didn’t have to choose. I was born with the BEST in my back yard. Southern Railway, of coarse now Norfolk Southern. But, I miss my high hoods, steam specials, and the BEST paint job on locomotives.

I already got CP about a 1/4 mile away! Too bad the city made the ONLY crossing within 5 miles a “quiet crossing”, so now all I have to go by is the sound of the diesels chugging up the hill… [:(] Though I’d love to have the UP and/or CN run really close by too, and with more traffic on the UP! Sure isn’t like it was in the C&NW days. A good shortline would be nice too, but I can definitely say I’m happy with what I’ve got!

BNSF RAILWAY.

the steel freeway. SANTA FE ALL THE WAY !!!

A tourist railroad-- they don’t haul cyanide or any other hazardous chemical.

Lets see here I would like to have the Chesapeake & Ohio run past my house (if it were still around of course). one of the main reasons why I would like to have the C&O run by my house is because of the 2-6-6-6 Allegheney. Of course I would have to live up in the mountains somewhere instead of here in the city of Philadelphia.

I also wouldn’t mind having both the UP and BNSF run by my house. Preferibly I would like to have a diamond or two, a couple of feet away from my back yard.

Well, I should really should say that I would love to have anything that runs on rails go right past my house.
