Well, I joined and have read a bunch of threads and even posted. But I have to say I’m not impressed. If the maturity level were higher I might participate. There seems to be way too much argueing and too little substance. If the moderators of the forum are Ok with that then good luck. I for one have no desire to get caught up in childish arguements. It looks like most members of the western forum are members from this forum. The way I see it why bother with a forum that seems to be a sub forum of this one under someone elses rules.

You guys could have something good if you work on keeping the intellegence factor up and the childish factor down. I’ll check in now and again to see how it’s going and hopefully you guys get it together. Good luck with it.

You mean the arguing on western? Well that was caused by Kevin (UP SD70ACe) but he’s completley banned. I don’t think there is much arguing anymore. I am trying to keep up the intelligence but i don’t know if anybody else is.

Although I tend to agree with Chad, I was unable to enter the western forum to check it out. You shouldn’t use range-bans in order to get rid of anyone. Obviously you range-banned IPs starting with “172.” which includes myself and anyone else using AOL. Thus, your viewership and participation is going to be further limited. Shouldn’t cut off your nose in order to keep the fingers out of it…

Well it seems you are right and kevin was a big chunk of the problem. Perhaps I was a bit harsh yesterday, I have been haveing problems with some equiptment here at work and am a bit stressed. I hope you excuse me. You probably noticed I have posted on a couple topics. As long as there is no name calling silly “UP sucks” kinda stuff, I will drop in from time to time.

Yeah it was a problem on Western. I havent been on there that much lately cause I set up Midwestrails but I will try to get over there soon. Hope there hasnt been any problems.
