If you're going to the Madison WI train show February 21

Frequent Forums poster Keith Schmidt is scheduled to work the World’s Greatest Hobby booth from noon to 1 pm. This may be an opportunity for another “group” photo, or at least to meet and chat with fellow forum members. Still too cold to wear the Forum Member T shirts that Bergie arranged to have printed up a few years ago, but I hope to see some of you at Mad City this Saturday!

Looks like we have 4-5 guys in the van going to the show. Should arrive between 10:30 & 11 AM(3+ hour drive). The ‘Madison 400’ leaves Rochester at 7 AM! So, are we planning to meet at 1 PM again? Jim Bernier

Quite a few months ago I heard about the show and my wife and I were planning on a trip down.(3 1/2 hours drive for us) But by some immaculate conception my wife got pregnant about 10 months ago and our first child was born Jan 27.[:-^] S needless to say I’m hoping there’s another show next year. She doesn’t want to tote the little one down and I guess I’m feelin the same way. I guess next year it is… And the daughter will be a year old. Plenty old enough to start the train influence on her. [}:)]. Let us all know how it is and bring lots of pics… Have fun and drive safe.

I’ll be there both days at the CNWHS booth.I hope to chat with a few of you.I am hoping to find some great deals there.I need to add more to my freight car inventory.1004 and still counting, Then again, buying books are great too.

Man I would love to go. But the “wife” would be mad. Might even toss me in the bay if I go. So where in Mad Town is it?

I should be there assuming nothing major goes wrong with the Sandhouse Crew layout that prevents it. Jim brings up a good point though; I would think we should set a little more specific time since noon to 1 is a rather large window. Do we want to meet around noon, or closer to 1pm?

Noah

I am sure Keith will welcome visitors anytime, [:D] but why don’t we try to meet at the World’s Greatest Hobby booth (in years past it has been in the outer lobby) when his shift ends, around 1 pm Saturday. OK?

Dave Nelson

Sounds like a plan!
