IHC four wheels truck question

I just bought one set of the 4 wheel trucks from IHC to upgrade my IHC passenger fleet. At 25.00 a pair including adapter I figured I would start with one set and go from there. They are very nice trucks. Made of metal of course and have incredible detail. They installed in less than ten minutes and look really good. A side benefit it added a tad more weight to the car. Previous I had the KD 508 talgo truck coupler adapter (I think that is what it is called) and it would take my 22 in rad curves fine at moderate speeds. Well now that I have these nuclear powered trucks I have no way to do truck mounted couplers. Does KD have a body mounted swing arm coupler that would work here? If so will they be as good as the truck mounted coupler as far as handling the 22 in curves. Or do I now have a nice looking “Yard Queen”? I also bought the 8 car set of interiors so I would really like to figure this out.
Tks for your help.

I used JayBee mounting pads and put body-mounted Kadee #148 Whisker Couplers on all of my IHC passenger cars and they have no problem with a 24 inch radius curve. They should work okay with 22 inch radius if you leave the Kadee coupler box slightly loose so it can swivel as the cars go around the curve. I never replaced the IHC trucks, but cut off the coupler mounting tongue and used 36-inch Intermountain wheelsets instead of the size wheels that come as stock on the IHC cars.

Well I solved the problem. I had some 85 ft high cube boxcars that were given to me. They have a swivel coupler arm . I don’t know the proper terminology but the swing arm is attached between the truck and the frame via the screw that holds the truck on. I had to modify the swing arm a bit and stiffen it but it works like a champ. I put the new metal trucks on the coach with the modified swing arm couplers and ran it around behind my BLI Hudson for over an hour. 22 in rad, fast , slow, backing up etc and it did fine. I also got my interiors today so I will be spending the next several days painting them. So over the next several paydays I think I will go ahead and get the rest of the IHC trucks.

And cacole thanks for your help.
