I have one and it is about the best steam engine I own for running qualities. They were made by Mehano of Slovenia and are cast metal with a can motor and DCC socket and speaker cutout in the tender.
Mehano has filed for bankruptcy and IHC also seems to have gone under. I have searched several times for IHC’s web site and can no longer find them. They don’t advertise in the hobby magazines any more, either.
I hardly ever look at e-Bay so I have no idea what they’re selling for today, but I paid $130.00 for mine about five years ago. If IHC has gone out of business, the prices will probably start going up.
I can’t access their website either but found a phone number and address on another link. Phone is 215-426-2873 and it is answering but it’s late night and they are closed

I have one of the 2-10-2 IHC and they are fine. More detail than their 4-8-2 and DCC Ready. Runs quiet and smooth and takes 18in radius. They also have tender pick-up.

M B Klien has their 2-10-2’s on sale. Never seen prices this low before

I have the IHC and it is quite detailed, runs well and is easy to upgrade to DCC/Sound.
I have one with DCC and sound. Great running engine, Will crawl along as slow as you want and pull a fair number of cars. Well detailed to boot.
