I'll be off-line a few days

Friends, the missus and I are finally gonna retire our 366 Celeron running Win 98. I’ll be unable to share our mutual entusiasm here with you while the nice techs migrate our settings and files over to the new computer (don’t want to lose what I don’t have to).

See you all in a few days (don’t know what I’m going to do in the meantime, scenic in around my newly plaster-cloth skirted turntable, I guess, and wire in the Digitrax Super Empire Builder that DOESN"T COME WITH A BLEEPIN" POWER SUPPLY!!!..now that it finally came).

Most importantly, would someone like Randy or Orson go help the fellow asking about the Atlas turntable in “Layouts” deal with a noisy and runaway motor? I’ve advised him to make sure he has it wired to the right power pack terminals, but he may need more help. Thanks, guys. I’ll miss y’all.

Crandell,

Enjoy your small respute and we’ll look forward to having you back with us shortly. Along those lines, we just upgraded from a 6-1/2 year old Pentium II 300 MHz, with a 15" CRT monitor to a Pentium 4 3.06 GHz with a 19" LCD monitor. Whoa! What a difference! [:D] Makes surfing and viewing pics on the forum a breeze now.
