I am waiting to recieve my Athearn BNSF H1 Caboose in the Mail down the road. The Caboose # is BNSF100232. The Question im asking is? Does the BNSF realy own any Cabooses in this H1 Paint? Does anyone have Photo of the real Caboose? Are there any BNSF Cabooses in H2 or H3 right now? Thanks. Allan.
Hmmmm… I’ve never seen one and the only picture I can find of a caboose in that paint scheme is a retired one that was repainted AFTER retirement.

No…BNSF has Hundreds of Cabooses. They use them mostly on Transfer(s) runs. Allan.
Nope they have bunches. At least three live here in Denver - but they are all BN green and not taken care of at all - graffiti, rust, broken windows. That is why I can’t imagine them painting one fresh.
maybe I should’ve said they don’t have many that they actually use. I know NS uses cabooses on mine-runs.
